Accountable and Confident

After over 20 years of suffering the pain of alcoholism, I entered a treatment center for the first time in 2017. Feeling great when I came home, I was able to maintain sobriety for time spans of 30, 60, and 90 days, but most times only one day. The pain continued for five more years, checking into hospitals for detox followed by stints in treatment centers four more times with the same results, each time getting worse.
