My experience with Soberlink began in 2018 when I needed to show proof of my sobriety to my 12-year-old son's father in order to regain custody. I set up an account with SL and was able to self-report 3 times/day with BAC results sent— in real-time—to his father. This was a godsend for me, because I was able to show scientific proof of my sobriety. After several months of clean tests, I regained custody of my son. Today, I have remained sober for 6+ years, and my son is now 18. I honestly do not know what I would have done without Soberlink because it provided daily proof of sobriety in a convenient way—I was fully accountable 3 times a day of 6 years; something he needed to have, and I was more than happy to provide and pay for, in order to be the present mother my child needs and deserves. Before SL, I was ordered to do random urinalysis, at a lab with set office hours and at a great cost to me. With Soberlink, I was able to test 7 days a week at home, in the office, on the road, wherever I was. The flexibility and accuracy was a godsend, and I could not be more grateful for it! It also helped me stay accountable to myself, and it was a crucial tool for me at the beginning of my sobriety journey.
